New building - Workshop
this new building is availible at lvl 30
It reduces CD timer on all builds slots by 1% per lvl
- restricted timer. CAN NOT be sped up with domistal. it must run its timer.
- starts at 5 day cd at lvl 1. 10% added to cd timer per lvl.
- side benefit of this build is called "charge", takes 7 days to build a charge (more on this below)

New tech - Craftsman, available at lvl 30 research lvl
- allows a player to "Master Craft" upgrade your gear.
- each lvl of this tech reduces the cd timer of workshop "charge" by 1%
- RESTRICTED TIMER. CAN NOT BE SPED UP WITH DOMISTAL.
- 5 day CD timer, +10% cd per lvl.
- Master Crafted gear will be much more powerful than regular NDA gear.
Creating Master Crafted gear is as follows
- once you have built your "charge" from workshop you can go to ITEM and click the arrow beside it like your going to enhance it. There will be a new option call "Craft".
- Choosing Craft will take you to the crafting screen.
- on this screen you will have 3 boxes (first 2 boxes will auto select 100,000 credits and 100,000 exploits if you have them)
- the third box with be for selecting an NDA PART (not an already combined NDA piece of gear) to combine with your currently selected gear to make it Master Crafted (MC)
- when all 3 options are green, the Craft button will highlight and you then click it to combine.
- this results in a New RED Gear Called MC (Master Crafted), it will REMOVE all enhancements back to lvl 1.
- its will add 4 more points per lvl of enhancement of same lvl of NDA gear.
- Crafting a piece of gear will also raise its lvl by 5. So lvl 20 NDA Laser crafted to MC will be lvl 25 after combine.
Example: Stroms Eye Patch is base 240 + 24 points per enhancement lvl. so at lvl 37, its 1128 units to command capacity.
New MC gear will be base 240 + 28 points per enhancement lvl. Same gear is now 1276 units to command capacity.

Master Crafted gear CAN NOT be upgraded again.

Very interesting idea, it adds a few things to the game. New researches and a item progression(other then what exists)

A question about the level being raised. When for example a Laser Amp MK-1 becomes a Mastercraft item, does it upgrade to a Laser Amp MK-2 because it now has a level 25 requirement? Or does it stay a Laser Amp MK-1 and gain a boost per level, therefore surpassing a Laser Amp MK-2 over the time of upgrading its level. Therefore the level increase is part of the requirement due to making the item stronger.

I think this sounds like a great idea Mr X... It would add new dimensions to the game which would in turn hopefully breathe some lift back into it...

A great idea, you have obviously given it some thought, lets hope Ifree do the same...

@ Orek I think it would remain a Mk1 but would a MC (master crafted) Mk1... I'm Sure mr x will confirm his thoughts however :lol:

It would be a new item. The mk1 would be dropped and the item would be laser amp MC1.
A mk2 laser that is master crafted would be MC2 and so on.
Mk1=MC1 lvl25
Mk2=MC2 lvl 30
Mk3=MC3 lvl 35
Mk4=MC4 lvl 40

Theres room for mk5-6. But those items are a long way off i think

I think the 5 day cd timer at lvl 1 is a little bit outrageous and adding 10% to it each upgrade is even more thats 12hrs more each lvl.
The idea itself is good.

Why not make it a tech that lowers cd instead of a building and just have a building that can MC, each lvl of the building lowering the cost to do so by so much?

Also if the item is equipped will it unequip when MC or does it have to be unequipped in the first place

Another thing is does the type of nda part used on it matter? Like a laser being mc with a lemming part or does it have to be another laser part.

Myself i think if a new building was added it should maybe be a workshop to build ballisticas catapults ect ect this id like a middle age game and would go with it well in my opinion.. although the weapon crafting does sound great to me.
